In Chhattisgarh's Surguja district, angry parents of a 12-year-old daughter allegedly killed her and hid her body in a forest over her not cooking food and not providing fodder to the animal.

Police officials said on Tuesday that the police have arrested Vishwanath Ekka and his wife Dilso Ekka for the murder of daughter Nyasa Ekka in Darima police station area of ​​the district.

According to officials, on July 3, Vishwanath reached the Darima police station and told the police that his daughter Nyasa had been missing since June 29.

Police officials said that on the complaint of Vishwanath, the police registered a case and started the investigation of Nyasa.

Meanwhile, Vishwanath reached the police station on August 26 and told the police that his daughter's skeleton was in the forest of Libra village.

He told that he has identified the daughter on the basis of clothes and slippers.

Officials said that after the information of Vishwanath, the police started the investigation of the case and on the basis of the post-mortem report, there was a possibility of murder.

When police interrogated Vishwanath strictly, he told that Nyasa had run away from the house without informing her and she was angry for not listening to her parents.

Vishwanath told that on June 28, when Nyasa did not cook food and did not give fodder to the bull, she thrashed the daughter and during this she fell and collided with the stone.

Police said that Nyasa died in this incident and later along with wife Dilso, he hid the daughter's body in the forest.
