The Ukrainian military has begun to employ an interesting tactic on the battlefield – using fake fleets of the US advanced HIMARS missile system in order to force Russian forces to waste long-range missiles, thereby hitting the HIMARS made of wood.

The idea of using HIMARS made of wood has already cost Moscow millions of dollars a day - as many long-range missiles are being launched from warships in the Black Sea, the Telegraph reports.

"When batteries of missile systems are targeting these HIMARS, the Ukrainians are enjoying this action, as they are managing to deceive the Russians," says an article published in the Washington Post.

And a senior Ukrainian official who spoke to the Washington Post on condition of anonymity said that in recent weeks on the battlefield they managed to deceive the Russians who launched dozens of giant missiles in the hope of hitting the HIMARS given to them by USA.

The Russians have often tried to hide the bitter truth that they are losing many soldiers in the Ukrainian war, claiming that they have destroyed several American HIMARS systems in Ukraine, but they have denied such a thing from Kiev but also from Washington, which always has information accurate from intelligence.

Even the Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, last month ordered the generals to prioritize the destruction of this advanced missile system, but so far they have not even managed to publish any evidence of this.
