Despite the denials of the country's authorities that businesses do not pay higher energy than their colleagues in the region, the President of OBRM-PDUKM, Hristijan Mickoski, remains in the position that businesses pay higher bills and he does not expect that the authorities will admit that they are incapable of managing the electricity sector.

"I don't expect the authorities to come out and admit that they are stealing from citizens and that they are incompetent, i.e. they don't know how to manage the energy system, but the truth is that our businessmen, according to Eurostat, not according to OBRM-PDUKM , in the second half of 2021, they paid twice the price of electricity than their colleagues in Kosovo, for example.

They pay more expensive electricity than their counterparts in Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey and literally everywhere, which means, in short, they are becoming more and more competitive and unfortunately, a large part of their businesses they will have to be closed", stressed Mickoski.

He also called on the authorities not to continue obstinately, stop the thefts and start producing electricity that will end up helping the economy.
