Five people were killed and 38 others injured after a bus full of tourists went off the road in Turkey's northwestern province of Bursa on Sunday, BTA reported, citing Daily Sabah. 

The bus was traveling from Kutahya province to Mudanya district in Bursa.

He was ferrying a group of tourists to the coastal town.

Among the dead were the driver and four passengers.

An investigation has been launched into the case. 

We remind you that last week 34 people died in two accidents in the provinces of Gaziantep and Mardin in southern and southeastern Turkey, respectively.

In Turkey, traffic accidents claim hundreds of lives every year.

Figures from the Turkish Police Traffic Department show that traffic accidents claimed the lives of 920 people in the first six months of 2022. The main cause of the accidents was driver error.
