Big disclosure of Goa Police in Sonali Phogat case

Goa Police has made a big disclosure in the case of death of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Tik-Tok star Sonali Phogat.

According to the Goa Police, Sonali Phogat was given a drug called 'Methamphetamine' before her death.

Village Police Deputy Superintendent Jeevba Dalvi said that the remainder of the narcotic that Phogat was given at Anjuna's Curlies restaurant has been seized from the restaurant's washroom.

The police have so far arrested Phogat's personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan, another associate Sukhwinder Singh, restaurant owner Edwin Nunes and alleged drug smuggler Datta Prasad Gaonkar in this case.

Singh and Sangwan have been booked for murder while Gaonkar and Nunes have been booked under the NDPS Act.

Amidst all this, a new video clip has surfaced in the death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat.

In which it can be seen that they are being forced to drink alcohol on the dance floor.

The person seen in the video looks like Sudhir Sangwan.

On behalf of the police, it has been said that Sudhir Sangwan has been seen forcibly giving Sonali Phogat "some substance".

According to the police, the associates took him to the Hotel Grand Leoni, where they were all staying, before he died.


A police statement said the investigating officer examined the CCTV recordings of the premises concerned, and it was found that Sudhir was forcing Sonali to allegedly drink a bottle of water. Police on Saturday took into custody two accused arrested in connection with the death of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sonali Phogat and a suspected drug smuggler who allegedly supplied drugs. Both the accused gave their statements, the official said. Dattaprasad Gaonkar, a suspected drug smuggler, has been taken into custody from Anjuna after he had 'admitted' to buy drugs from the suspect.
