The Chairman of the Movement for Union, Valon Murati, after the agreement on documents between Kosovo and Serbia, reacted by saying that the Government should seek a final agreement, but not with recognition at the center, but with reciprocity at the center, as according to him, a difficult political month they are waiting for Kosovo.

Murati, after reaching the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on entry-exit documents, said that the implementation of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority is very close.

Also, he elaborated on the options ahead, and that according to him, every success of Kosovo in relation to Serbia should be enjoyed, but only when the elections are fair.

"Every success of the government of Kosovo in relation to Serbia should be enjoyed, of course when the solutions are right like this for the acceptance of identity cards of Kosovo by Serbia without additional documents and consequently not putting into force the same measures on the side of Kosovo", declared Murati.

But, according to him, serious political topics for Kosovo will be on the agenda, especially the implementation of the Association Agreement.

"But since Prime Minister Kurti has so far followed the path of technical talks, and moreover the implementation of previous agreements, now the serious political topics for Kosovo will be on the agenda, especially the implementation of the agreement of the association", declared Murati.

Also, this was warned by the special emissary of the USA, Gabriel Escobar, while, according to Murat, the Serbian president Aleksandër Vučić has negotiated this issue mostly these days with the international emissaries.

"Now Kosovo, namely the government and Prime Minister Kurti, have several paths.

The first (which is also favored by the opposition parties) is the attempt to implement the agreement on the establishment of the association of Serbian municipalities based on the Constitution of Kosovo.

This variant is likely to be supported by the international community, but this would not mean either a final agreement or recognition by Serbia", he said.

Meanwhile, Murati added that the talks on the final agreement will continue.

"Serbia concentrates the requests for special autonomous status for the north.

Prime Minister Kurti rejects this option.

The other option is for Kosovo to seek political talks for a final agreement with what the Prime Minister says is "recognition at the center" (something he introduced in the six points of the last meeting in Brussels)," he said.

According to him, the possibilities are that if recognition came from Serbia, even Prime Minister Kurti would accept the establishment of the association.

"In this variant, Serbia rejects the approach and insists on the association as the first step for the normalization of relations.

In both of these variants, the talks fail and the possibility that the international pressure will fall on Kosovo is great, especially because of the demand for the implementation of the association agreement", declared Murati.

Also, Murat has said that the pressure can lead to the fall of the government, especially if we do not have an offensive approach of the prime minister to offer other solutions with Serbia.

"Such a fall of the government by rejecting solutions that could really be problematic for Kosovo can transform Prime Minister Kurti into a populist hero, but the lack of offering political alternatives, a politician and leader who thinks about votes but not about solving problems ", he said.

According to him, the association in all its variants, although the agreement signed by Kosovo is the variant that would extremely damage the functionality of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, he said that Kosovo and the Kurti government should seek a final agreement, but not with recognition at the center, but with reciprocity at the center, adding that from this context, Kosovo is facing a difficult political month, a month that can also determine the future of Kosovo but also shake the political scene in the country.
