Gasoline and diesel prices have risen again in Italy amid the extraordinary energy crisis linked to the war in Ukraine, the ANSA agency reported on Friday, citing the online publication "Energy Daily", cited by BTA.

The government must act quickly to help Italian households and businesses hit by record increases in gas and electricity prices amid the war in Ukraine, League leader Matteo Salvini said on Friday.

If energy prices do not fall, the nationalist leader said, restrictions on gas and electricity consumption will have to be introduced.
