The caretaker government is expected to discuss and vote on changes to the budget plan it adopted for the preparation and holding of the extraordinary parliamentary elections scheduled for October 2.

This is provided for in the program of the government meeting for August 26, Friday, the press service of the Council of Ministers announced. 



On August 4, the government approved funds in the amount of BGN 70.5 million, but declared its readiness to provide additional funds in the event of a decision by the Central Election Commission to introduce video surveillance in the polling stations, as well as in the conclusion of contracts for logistics and technical support of voting machines as well as other materials and related activities.

At its meeting, the government is expected to appoint a manager for Bulgaria in the Black Sea Development Bank, a deputy manager for Bulgaria in the International Monetary Fund, a manager for our country in the Board of Governors of the International Investment Bank, as well as the head of the Bulgarian delegation in the Council of International Bank for Economic Cooperation and Board Member.

A draft decree approving additional transfers under the municipal budgets for 2022 for financial provision of activities under national education development programs is also included in the agenda of the meeting.
