APA informs that the information says: As a result of the joint activity of the employees of the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, another especially serious murder crime, which was closed from previous years, was solved.

Thus, on October 31, 2011, a criminal case was initiated and an investigation was conducted regarding the discovery of the body of Gurbanov Ilkin Samir oglu, born in 1974, with traces of violence, in the block of a residential building located in the territory of NZS settlement, Khatai district of the capital, but his crime was not investigated. since it is not possible to identify the perpetrator(s), the proceedings in the case have been stopped.

After the criminal case was re-examined by the Investigative Department of the General Prosecutor's Office, the proceedings in the case were renewed.

As a result of the investigative and operational measures implemented, Salahov Ahad Bakhtiyar oglu, born in 1985, and Firudin Mammadov, who was a close friend and family member, and the victim, who was a close friend and at the same time related, during the conflict that arose on the basis of the violation of personal relations, in accordance with the plan prepared in advance by the latter's direct order and assistance, 2011- On October 31, at around 11 p.m., it was established that Ilkin killed Gurbanov with multiple injuries with a knife near his house.


In addition, according to the investigation materials, shortly after the incident, that is, on November 4 of the same year, Firudin Mammadov committed suicide by cutting the front surface of the left elbow joint with a sharp cutting tool in his car on Khojaly Avenue, Baku.

On August 24, 2022, Ahad Salahov was arrested as a suspect in committing the crime provided for by Article 120.2.5 (intentional murder by order) of the Criminal Code.
