The Border Police of Himara announced today that they came to the aid of a tourist from Slovakia, whose life was in danger due to high sea waves.

During the patrolling of the beach area by the Border Police, with the aim of guaranteeing a safe tourist season for vacationers, a notification was received from the operating room of the Himar Police Station, that a tourist, who had entered the sea with a boat type " Canoe", on the beach of Qeparoi, Himare, due to the high waves of the sea, his life was in danger and it was impossible to return to the shore.

Immediately after receiving the notification, services were organized to help the tourist from Slovakia, who, thanks to the immediate intervention and professional work, was brought ashore in good health, the police announced.
