Moscow and Kyiv reached an agreement on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

According to APA's Moscow correspondent, this was said by the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (AEBA), Rafael Grossi.

According to him, the agreement on access to the Zaporozhye NPP is close: "Moscow and Kyiv have agreed on the need to send a mission there in the near future."

Grossi also said that AEBA sees its role in preventing incidents at the Zaporozhye NPP.

He noted that the issue of demilitarization of the Zaporozhye NPP is not on the agenda of the AEBA mission and should be resolved in political negotiations.
