Public transport workers in the second largest Greek city of Thessaloniki have announced a four-hour strike starting at 11 a.m. tomorrow, demanding the immediate signing of a new collective labor agreement, ANA-MPA reported, citing the unions.

In the message, the union states that commitments to find a solution to the labor dispute are blocked in the administration of various ministries, BTA informs.

Thessaloniki city transport workers also promise to step up union action from the beginning of September.

A strike blocked bus transport in Thessaloniki for several hours

Despite the strike, the public transport company in Thessaloniki has announced that 50 buses will run in the city tomorrow and the service of free transport for disabled people will be provided, because a minimum staff will be provided to maintain the basic activities.
