The driver of the Serbian bus, which crashed on the Trakia highway on August 14, is released from custody with a bail of BGN 10,000, BTV reports.

Today, the District Court of Stara Zagora granted the request for the mitigation of the remand order.

The amount must be paid within 10 days, after which Darko Karashicevic will be released.

The Prosecutor's Office requested a permanent arrest for the Serbian bus driver from the Trakia crash

The 40-year-old man is accused of causing moderate and serious bodily harm to 12 children and two adults through negligence.

Among the court's reasons for softening the measure is his clean criminal record and the presence of a registered address in Sofia.
