An accident between a car and a truck on the "Maritsa" highway, the police reported.
The accident happened at 6:50 this morning, at km 59 in the direction of Haskovo.
A 42-year-old driver from France was driving a car and hit the rear of a truck semi-trailer driven by a 66-year-old Turkish driver.
As a result of the impact, three female passengers in the car were injured - aged 37, 12 and 16, all from France, who were examined at the hospital in Haskovo and released for home treatment.
Accident in Prohoda Republika, one injured
Their driver also suffered non-life-threatening injuries but refused hospitalisation.
