Regional Governor Anatoli Stanev requested 208,000 ballots for a total of 203,542 voters from Ruse region from the Central Election Commission (CEC) for the upcoming early elections on October 2.

The number of voters and ballots was agreed with the Regional Election Commission /RIC/ and was provided to the Regional Administration in Ruse by the mayors of the eight municipalities.

However, the indicated figures do not correspond to the current demographic situation, since the data on the preparation of the elections are based on information from GRAO and not from NSI.

In addition, last year's census data will be released the day after the election.

However, this should not worry anyone, as there is no way to allow any kind of fraud.

We remind you that each voter can vote only once in a specific polling station and only after providing an identity card.

There will be 276 stationary sections in the Montana region

The ballots are expected to be delivered at the end of September to the District Administration in the Danube city under increased security measures.

The organization for their transportation is underway, and at the same time a detailed plan is being prepared for their distribution in the shortest possible time among the settlements in the region.

"All measures are being taken to ensure the smooth running of the early parliamentary elections.

Residents of the district must be sure of the fairness of the vote," Stanev said.

He is adamant that in no way will manipulations be allowed to endanger the security and transparency of the elections.

Therefore, the regional governor is also in contact with all institutions at the local and national level related to their implementation.

"My team and I are aware,

that this is a very important task and its proper implementation will be the first step towards an eventual stable government that will face a number of tasks concerning our better tomorrow.

I thank you for the excellent coordination of all institutions, as well as the Regional Election Commission," adds Stanev.

According to the Electoral Code, in machine ballot voting sections, the number of printed ballots is equal to the number of voters, and in paper ballot voting sections, the number of printed ballots is equal to the number of voters for the respective type of election in the sections increased by 10 percent.

The total number of voters in the Nineteenth District - Rusensky in the sections with more than 300 voters is 198,183, and in those with less than 300 is 5,359. As for the sections that will be opened in the district, their number is expected to be 327 , and in nearly 90% of them, or in a total of 290, it will be possible to vote by machine.

Sections with less than 300 voters, i.e.

those where a vote will be exercised on a paper ballot are 37. The mobile sections, as well as those in social institutions and hospitals, have yet to be determined,

Paper ballots will be used in the sections with less than 300 people, and in the rest - only if there is a problem with the electronic devices.

In mobile sections, as well as in those for voters placed under mandatory quarantine or isolation, if any, voting will be done by paper ballots.

The machines themselves are expected to be brought to Ruse on Saturday.
