A 3.5-magnitude earthquake was registered today in Erzurum County, eastern Turkey, CNN-Turkey TV reported, citing the government's Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD).

The earthquake occurred at 16:11 at a depth of 7.01 km.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the area of ​​the town of Karachoban.
