The Gjilan Regional Directorate, the Investigation Unit of the Kamenica Police Station has been informed that a gambling establishment is suspected to be operating in a neighborhood of the city of Kamenica.

The Investigations Unit of the Kamenica Police Station in full coordination with the State Prosecutor and the Judge of the Preliminary Procedure together with other relevant units have checked the premises-house of the suspect, citizen of Kosovo, PG (1994).

During the search, the following were found and seized: a poker table, some gambling equipment, gambling cards, as well as a significant amount of alcohol without accompanying documentation.

The material evidence found was confiscated by the relevant Inspectors as evidence for the Court.

The suspect was arrested and interviewed based on legal procedures.

By order of the State Prosecutor, the suspect has been detained for 48 hours and the case with the criminal complaint "Organization of pyramid schemes and illegal gambling" is being processed to the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Gjilan.
