Now users from Belarus cannot access either reform.by or reform.news.

Sites are accessible only through proxies, the site's editors said.

When trying to access the main site or the mirror, the visitor sees a message:

"Access to the resource is limited to comply with the decision of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, adopted on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Mass Media".

The newsroom used the .news domain to mirror the main site.

The site on the .by domain was blocked by the Ministry of Information on August 25, 2021.

After the 2020 elections, websites of dozens of independent Belarusian media were blocked in Belarus, most of them were recognized as "extremist".

Belarusians are regularly detained and tried for "dissemination of extremist materials" for reposting information from mass media recognized as "extremist".
