On August 28, the 100 meter high twin tower of Noida will be demolished.

New Delhi:

After the order of the Supreme Court, the 40-storey twin towers of Noida will be demolished on August 28 at 2.30 pm.

More than 3,500 kg of explosives will be used for the blast.

Explosives have been sent inside both the towers through trucks.

Located in Sector 93B of Noida, this twin tower has more than 900 flats and 21 shops.

Important information related to the case:

  • Such a tall building will be demolished for the first time in India.

This work will be done in collaboration with the South African company Jet Demolition, which has demolished the 108 meter high building.

If all goes well, these towers will be frozen in 9 seconds.

In this 23 flats were to be built, about 700 flats were made there.

  • It will cost about 18 crores to demolish the Twin Towers.

It is estimated that about 25 thousand tonnes of debris will come out of the building.

If any damage is caused to the other buildings built around it, then it will be compensated.

102 crores has been insured for this.

That is why all the surrounding buildings have been videographed before the explosion.

At the same time, a team from IIT Chennai will be present to measure the vibration caused by the explosion.

  • The impact of this explosion will be felt within a radius of 50 meters.

    Experts are monitoring the explosion.

Along with Jet Company, Edifice (Patch) is looking after it.

The impact of the explosion will be 50 meters, the vibration will be 22 mm per second, while the neighboring building can withstand 300 mm of vibration.

  • The task of demolishing the tower by explosion will be challenging.

Because there is another building just 9 meters away from him, in which people live.

There are 40 pillars of the nearby Emerald Court Society, which are not in a condition to withstand the blast.

  • Necessary steps are also being taken to protect the other towers from the debris and dust of the twin towers.

Geo fiber cloth has been installed around the tower to avoid debris from the blast.

At the same time, a 30 meter high wall has been erected by placing a container on top of the iron one.

  • Water will be sprayed from many big machines to avoid even the dust of debris.

The residential towers are being covered with a special type of cloth.

This fabric is made of non-woven geotextile material.

Dust cannot get inside this cloth.

  • Over 5,000 people will have to vacate the Emerald Court and ATS Village Society on August 28 at 7 am to demolish the 100-metre-high Twin Towers.

Also, more than 2,500 vehicles will be removed.

While the twin towers were built within the premises of the Emerald Court itself, the ATS village is located on the other side of the city's Sector 93A with illegal structures.

  • There are around 650 flats in Emerald Court and 450 in ATS Village.

There are about 1,200 vehicles in the Emerald Court and 1,500 vehicles in the ATS village, which will have to be taken out.

They will be installed in multilevel parking at Botanical Garden Metro Station.

  • In Sector 93A, the entry of people, vehicles and animals will be restricted in the area near the Twin Towers.

The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, which is close to the Twin Towers, will remain closed for vehicular movement on August 28 from 2.15 pm to 2.45 pm.

  • Fire tenders, ambulances etc., required for emergency services, will be parked in front of the twin towers on the road behind the park.
