CM Yogi Adityanath reached Krishna Janmabhoomi temple and visited Kanha.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura on the occasion of Janmashtami on Friday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated his commitment to preserve and promote the spiritual and cultural heritage of the state on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, an official statement said.

Yogi Adityanath said, 'Parinaya Sadhu Vinshay Cha Dushkritam', the teachings of Lord Shri Krishna inspire our thoughts, actions and our vision.

In the presence of revered saints who came to 'Brajbhoomi' from different states on Krishna Janmashtami, the Chief Minister also bowed down to the 'Sanatan' tradition.

He said that some civilizations are 2,700 years old, some are 1,400, 1700 or 2,000 years old, while the eternal civilization has existed since time immemorial.

Yogi Adityanath said, "Lord Krishna came to this earth about 5,000 years ago today and his 'lilas' are still celebrated in every part of the country and the world."

The Chief Minister said that today with the blessings of Banke Bihari Lal ji, efforts are being made to keep the ancient cultural and spiritual heritage intact through the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad.

Paying homage to the saints present, the Chief Minister recalled the successful organization of 'Vaishnav Kumbh' in Vrindavan, and also mentioned the efforts made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to recognize India's great traditions and practices like 'Yoga' .

On the occasion of Janmashtami, Yogi Adityanath along with saints inaugurated a two-storey 'Annapurna Bhavan' developed by Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad and Mangalam Parivar Trust in Vrindavan and the Chief Minister himself distributed it amongst themselves and received Prasad.
