Inflation in Britain has broken 40-year records.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Britain reached 10.1 percent on Wednesday.

The latest reason behind the rise in inflation was the increase in the prices of food items.

The Office for National Statistics said that the annual inflation rate of essential food items has reached around 12.7%.

It was 9.8 percent in June.

The rise in the prices of bread, milk, cheese and eggs in Britain became the reason for this inflation.

These latest figures have come at a time when people are worried about the rising electricity bills of energy and the cost of living in the country is increasing.

Grant Fitzner, chief economist of the Office for National Statistics, said: "This month's price hikes have once again raised inflation rates.

He said, "Food prices have increased significantly. Most of the bakery products, dairy, meat and vegetables have become expensive. Inflation in July also due to increase in prices of items like pet food, toilet roll, toothbrush and deodorant." Enhanced."

He said, "The prices of holiday packages have also increased due to high demand. While their demand was down at this time last year. Airfares have also increased. Prices of both raw material and factory goods are increasing. This is due to the increase in the prices of metals and food.

The latest figures will put more pressure on the British government.

This will increase the pressure on the government to help the families already facing crisis.

However, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is vacationing in Greece, is not expected to announce a new policy until 10 Downing Street gets a new prime minister after 5 September.
