Exports have continued with a double-digit increase in value in July, but growth rates have slowed significantly compared to previous months, indicating the pressure of high prices coming from international markets.

In July, exports of goods reached the value of ALL 39 billion, increasing by 23 percent, compared to the same period a year ago and decreasing by 14.3 percent, compared to June this year, according to the report of the institute of statistics INSTAT.

Meanwhile, goods imports reached the value of 82 billion ALL, increasing by 14.1 percent, compared to a year ago and by 0.6 percent, compared to June 2022.

This month's trade deficit is 42 billion ALL, increasing by 6.9 percent compared to July 2021 and by 20.3 percent compared to June 2022.

Referring to INSTAT data, this seven-month export of goods reached the value of 293 billion ALL, increasing by 40.1 percent, while imports of goods reached the value of 528 billion ALL, increasing by 23.9 percent, compared to a year ago.

The trade deficit reached the value of ALL 235 billion, increasing by 8.3 percent, compared to the same period of 2021. /Telegrafi/
