Electricity reductions are expected to continue at least until August 25, until the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, has recommended KEK to provide the necessary energy.

On the other hand, the citizens have also warned of a protest against the reductions and increase in the price of electricity.

Reductions in electricity continue to be opposed by citizens and civil society, but also the increase in price.

Activist Visar Dili has started protesting the doubling of electricity tariffs since Saturday.

He and many citizens, through the online platform, have also warned of a protest in front of the relevant institutions.

"The purpose of this initiative is not political, but it has to do with the energy decision.

We have over 5 thousand citizens who have joined this initiative (hashtags).

If it is not done, from September we will face expensive fees.

They will wait for a solution and if we see, then September will be with mass protests", says Visar Dili-activist for RTK.

Citizens expect this issue to be resolved before winter.

"I don't see these reductions as reasonable, but this is all over Europe.

Maybe they will make some choice", says Bislim Ademi-citizen.

"It is not necessary to sit idly by when it is the summer season.

In the winter, when there are expenses, it is justified, but today all fees are reduced.

It was necessary to prepare earlier.

What are we waiting for the winter...", says Fehmi Konjuhja - citizen.

"We are hoping that they will give us some solution because in the winter there is a lot of problem.

If current reductions are made, it is very difficult if someone has children, elderly, etc. in the family.

Now we have also lost the candles because earlier we were better prepared", said Fatmir Sopi - citizen.

Regarding the situation created in the energy system, the emergency technical committee, after two meetings on Wednesday, has recommended to KEK to provide the necessary energy to avoid reductions for consumers and deviations in the energy network.

In a press release, it is stated that this measure is recommended in order to overcome the situation with electricity supply, which will last until August 25.
