A man transporting migrants was detained after a road accident in Harmanli, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Haskovo announced.

His car was spotted yesterday at noon, during a routine patrol along "Ivan Vazov" street.

They are accommodated in the Special Home for Temporary Accommodation of Foreigners in Lyubimets.

Upon inquiry, it was found that the car's registration plates were issued for another vehicle.

A pre-trial proceeding was instituted.

Hours later, management officials checked a hotel complex near the city.

In one of the rooms, rented by a 24-year-old man from Sofia, two men and two women, also without identity documents, were found.

According to their data, they are from Tunisia.

They were taken to the SDVNCH, and the tenant of the room was detained for up to 24 hours.

The checks of the employees in the complex continued as a matter of urgency in another hotel room.

It was inhabited by a 36-year-old Syrian with an address in Harmanli.
