"Azerishiq" OJSC continues renovation works in the direction of reducing electricity losses.

These updates are carried out especially on the basis of innovative technologies.

In addition to these, regular educational conversations are held with subscribers.

Despite all the measures taken, unfortunately, it was not possible to completely prevent the theft of electricity.

According to the information received by "APA-Economics" from the institution, during the monthly inspection of the meters, illegal use of electricity was found among both population and non-population subscriber groups.

One such case was discovered in the facility called "Bazar market" located in Ismayilli district.

During the inspection, it was found that a line outside the electricity meter enters the object.

A similar situation was discovered in one of the markets operating in Zardabi settlement of Guba district.

Another negative case was identified during the inspection of the counter of the wedding house in Separadi village of Lankaran region.

It turned out that a line outside the electric meter entered the restaurant.

Intrusions into the accounting set were detected in private residences as well as objects.

In the city of Khirdalan, the subscriber's illegal interference with the meter was determined.

Thus, the subscriber placed a magnet on the meter and thus stopped the movement mechanism.

One of the next such facts was recorded in a private house in Shurabad settlement, Khizi district.

It was discovered that there was an illegal connection to the account set by laying an underground line.

Each subscriber should be responsible in this matter.

Lines are overloaded due to illegal interventions on meters, unaccounted connections to power transmission lines, and as a result, the quality of electricity along those lines decreases, causing the voltage to drop to low limits.

This also creates barriers to providing consumers with quality electricity.

Most importantly, such negative situations are a serious threat to people's lives and health.
