The Russian army launched a missile attack on the military airfield in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine from Su-34 fighter-bombers.
APA reports that the Central Air Command published information about this on its Facebook page.
"Today, on August 16, in the afternoon, Russian fighter jets launched planes from the territory of Belarus.
"They attacked with two X-59 guided missiles on the Su-34 fighter," the report said.
The impact damaged the runway and several vehicles.
The command noted that there were no injuries as the personnel were in the shelter.
