Russian journalist Zemfira Suleymanova died as a result of a mine explosion in the "Donetsk People's Republic".

APA TV reports with reference to the Russian media that military correspondent Semyon Pegov reported on this on his "Telegram" channel.

"Zemfira Suleymanova, who has just started working as a military correspondent, an activist of Eduard Limonov's "EV Limonov's Different Russia" party (founded by members of the banned National Bolshevik Party - ed.) recently arrived in Donbas.

In order to become a real military journalist, he was engaged in humanitarian aid," Pegov wrote.

He also noted that the deceased journalist was "very young".

Mikhail Axel, coordinator of EV Limonov's Different Russia party, said that Suleymanova was hit by a landmine during her journalistic visit.

According to him, Suleymanova was seriously injured and died.
