The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, today after the meeting with the President of Albania, Bajram Begajn, said that they talked about the idea of common defense.

Haradinaj made these statements after the meeting with the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, with whom he also talked about energy and foreign policy.

The head of AAK has said that with Begaj they also discussed the idea of a pact for common defense, for which he said that it was his initiative some time ago.

"We are interested in deepening Kosovo-Albania relations.

With the colleagues of the alliance, we have singled out some topics that we think are important, not only is it symbolic, but we have started with the issue of Albanian citizenship for all Albanians of the globe as something that would be really fair, at the same time we have talked about the issue of security , it was my initiative, for years, a pact for common defense, so a gradual process should be developed because Albania is in NATO and we have the care of NATO here", said Haradinaj, KP reports.

The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, also spoke about the energy crisis.

According to him, it is time for Albin Kurti to retire from the post of Prime Minister of the country.

He has criticized Kurti for the reductions in electricity, which according to him is the result of the government's incompetence.

"Yesterday, I addressed Kurt with a request to consider the withdrawal, this is what someone who had the opportunity to withdraw twice told him, I think it's time for him to seriously evaluate the withdrawal from his own responsibility... The issue of reductions can be seen to be bad management of this government, having reductions in August is necessarily something, the fault is known where it is, it is this government, the incompetence of this government that worries us later when we enter the winter", said Haradinaj.

The former prime minister of Kosovo also spoke about the meetings that Kurti will hold on August 17 and 18 in Brussels, with the secretary of NATO and with the president of Serbia in the framework of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

"The American-leaning NATO has proven that it does not allow destabilization of the Balkans in many cases and every time.

What is painful for me is an artificial rhetoric of Kurti and Vučić to increase the price of a great achievement, the non-aggression pact.

With all these concerns that are being made to the citizens of Kosovo today that there is war, there will be war, the whole situation is covered up by Mr. Kurti and they made an agreement that is not needed because it has been in place since 1999, for the non-aggression pact. like many other diversions in the public debate, it covered up the losses and failures of this government", said Haradinaj.

In addition to Haradinaj, the President of Albania also met with representatives of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, while no meeting was held with the Democratic League of Kosovo.

The President of Albania Bajram Begaj is staying in Kosovo from Monday and this is his first official visit abroad since taking the post of the head of state two weeks ago.
