An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 was registered this morning on the Greek peninsula of Peloponnese, Kathimerini reported.

The earthquake occurred in the Ilia region (in the Western Peloponnese), the Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics said. 

The tremor was registered at 6:00 a.m. at a depth of 8.4 kilometers.

The epicenter of the earthquake was six kilometers southeast of the village of Lalas.

There is no information about injured people or material damage.
