Along with the country, cases of Coronavirus infection have started increasing rapidly in Delhi as well.

On Monday, 1,227 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in the national capital with an infection rate of 14.57 percent, while eight deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours.

This information was obtained from the data shared by the Health Department.

Earlier, more than 2000 cases of Kovid-19 were coming daily in Delhi for the last 12 consecutive days.

On Sunday, 2,162 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in the national capital with an infection rate of 12.64 percent, while five patients lost their lives.

The Health Department said that 8,421 samples were tested for Kovid-19 on Monday, in which 1,227 have been confirmed to be infected.

According to the department, with the new cases on Monday, 19,85,822 cases of infection have been reported in Delhi, while the total number of people who lost their lives in the epidemic here has reached 26,389 with eight deaths.

According to the health bulletin, at present, a total of 7,519 patients are under treatment in Delhi, out of which 5,760 patients are being treated in home isolation.

The department said that 9,416 beds have been reserved for Kovid-19 patients in various hospitals of Delhi, out of which 594 beds were filled on Monday.

According to the bulletin, all the beds of the Kovid-19 Patient Care Center and the Kovid-19 Health Center are still vacant.

There are a total of 335 containment zones in Delhi at present.
