DCW chief Swati Maliwal has asked Delhi Police to register an FIR in the matter and arrest the accused.

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued a notice to the Delhi Police in connection with the alleged molestation of girls residing as Paying Guests (PG) by a PG security guard.

DCW has issued this notice taking suo motu cognizance of a video clip posted on social media platform Twitter of molesting girls at a PG in Delhi's Karol Bagh area.

It is alleged that the security guard of Golds Villa PG of Karol Bagh molested the girls living in the PG.

A video has also been tweeted in which a man can be seen holding the woman and molesting her and the woman is trying to escape.

It has also been said that when the matter was complained to the owner of the PG, he did not take any action.

Taking this matter seriously, the Delhi Commission for Women has issued a notice to the Delhi Police.

DCW chief Swati Maliwal has demanded the arrest of the accused by registering an FIR with the Delhi Police immediately in the case.

Not only this, the commission had also called for the details of the registration of this PG.

The commission has directed the Delhi Police to submit the action taken report by 4 pm on August 18.

Swati Maliwal said, "The commission was informed about the disturbing incident. An FIR should be lodged immediately in this matter and the accused should be arrested. Strict action is needed in the matter."
