Anti Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police has achieved great success in the investigation of an old case.

Police raided Ankleshwar in Gujarat and recovered 513 kg of MD drugs.

The value of the recovered drugs is being said to be 1026 crores in the international market.

In this case, the police have so far seized 1218 kg MD, whose total value is 2435 crores.

This is being said to be the biggest action of this year.

So far 7 accused have been arrested in this case. 

It is noteworthy that in this investigation, which started after the recovery of only 250 grams of MD drugs in the month of March, the Worli Unit of Anti Narcotics has so far arrested from small drug peddlers to big smugglers and drug makers.

In the same case last month, the police had recovered 701 kg MD drugs from Nalasopara.
