The tricolor was hoisted in different parts of the country on the 76th Independence Day of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation for the ninth time by hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort.

During this, a lot was seen in the celebration of independence.

This time big pictures and posters of freedom heroes were put up at the Red Fort.

These include heroes like Mahatma Gandhi, who gave the message of non-violence, Subhas Chandra Bose, who raised the Azad Hind Fauj, Bhagat Singh, besides Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Ram Prasad Bismil.
