Independence Day 2022: The tricolor raised in the Russian sky

The Amrit Festival

of Independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) is being celebrated

in Indian embassies in many countries of the world .

Attempts were made to celebrate 75 years of India's independence in a unique way in every embassy.

But the Indian Embassy in

Russia

made this occasion very special.

In Russia, the tricolor

was hoisted by parachute hundreds of kilometers above the ground

.

The tricolor waving between the rising sun and the green earth below looked very grand.

Apart from this, Independence Day was celebrated in the Russian Embassy in the presence of Ambassador Pavan Kapoor on this day.

He paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and read the President's message after unfurling the tricolor.
