Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday that Moscow values its relations with Latin American countries, countries in Asia and Africa.

According to Reuters,

President Putin in a speech at an arms show near Moscow praised Russia's advanced weapons capability and announced that it wants to share weapons technology with like-minded countries.

"We are ready to provide our allies with the most advanced types of weapons, ranging from small arms to armored vehicles and aerial warfare materials and drones," Russian President Putin said at the opening of the Army-2022 Forum.

He further added, "All of these have been used more than once in real combat."

Vladimir Putin was delivering this speech in the sixth month of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Russia has suffered heavy losses in this war.

Surrounded by economic sanctions, Russia is preparing to raise war resources by selling weapons.

But given the US and Western sanctions, it will not be easy for Asian and African countries to buy Russian weapons.

Western military analysts say that given the poor performance of the Russian military and weapons, it will be less attractive for potential buyers like India to buy them because Russian weapons rely on outdated technology.
