The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) continues its activities in the direction of the implementation of its duties, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies.

According to the news reported by APA with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the basis of the calls made to the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emergency and rescue operations were carried out by the relevant agencies of the Ministry during the past day for 71 fires and 10 cases of being in a helpless situation.

As a result of the emergency measures taken, the fires were quickly extinguished and people's lives were saved.

In total, during the last day, 11 people, including 3 minors, were rescued by the forces of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including 3 people who were in danger of drowning while swimming in the sea.
