The SDSM informed today that this year the advance payment of grants intended for young farmers begins.

The goal is to increase domestic production.

Higher subsidies for grain producers are foreseen, oil for agricultural machinery is subsidized, the purchase of artificial fertilizers is subsidized and at the same time all state agricultural land is made available to farmers.

"From this year, young farmers who will apply for a grant will be paid immediately after signing the contract for financial support of up to 40%.

The grants are realized through the Program for Financial Support of Rural Development, through measure 112, assistance for young farmers for the start of activity in agriculture, where a grant of 10,000 euros is allocated and measure 113, support for the promotion of agricultural production, with a grant of 20,000 euros. "- declared Goce Georgievski, SDSM.
