The application for the 'Chief Minister Fellowship Program', started with the aim of giving a special opportunity to the youth to participate in the work of policy, management, implementation, monitoring with the government, can be done till August 24.

Alok Kumar, Secretary, Planning Department, said that the online application at http://cmfellowship.upsdc.gov.in/ has started from August 10.

Concurrent evaluation of all the schemes run by the central and state government will be done by the selected youth in 100 aspirational development blocks of the state.

Not only this, suggestions will also be taken by the researchers to solve the challenges faced in the operation of the schemes and to provide the expected benefits to the public from the schemes, as well as participate in the work related to the planning, planning, structure and implementation of the scheme.

These research scholars, who will be appointed in the 'Aspirational Block' program under the direct supervision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will be paid at the rate of ₹ 30 thousand per month as remuneration.

In addition to the remuneration, ₹ 10 thousand per month will be paid for travel and a one-time ₹ 15 thousand will also be provided for tablet purchase.

Also, residential facility will be provided in the development block as far as possible.


The standards set for CM Fellowship include Agriculture, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Allied Sector Forest, Environment and Climate – Education, Health, Sanitation, Nutrition and Skill Development Energy and Renewable Energy – Tourism and Culture Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, IT, ITeS , Biotechnology, Machine Learning, Data Governance, Banking, Finance and Revenue – Youth from Public Policy and Governance Sectors can apply.
