Torrential rain caused some of Las Vegas' most iconic hotels and casinos to flood, while two bodies were found.

Emergency services and firefighters remove debris from a flood channel near Las Vegas Boulevard, where they discovered the body of a man.

Another body was found on Friday in a canal near the southern end of the "Rip".

It is unclear whether the deaths were a direct result of flash flooding at this time.

Thursday night's heavy rains flooded the Strip's iconic casinos and restaurants while some video footage also destroyed some of the city's icons, such as Caesars and Planet Hollywood.

The massive flooding also caused the city to experience major power outages as over 17,000 NV Energy customers were left without power.

Otherwise, the weather service has announced that the last time the summer was this wet was in 2012. Las Vegas usually gets about 10 centimeters of rain a year.

You're not going to believe this, but I'm not sure if it's raining more inside @PHVegas or outside.
