The vice-president of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lutfi Haziri, reacted to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who in two interviews given to foreign media mentioned that the country is endangered by a war with Serbia.

According to Haziri, the prime minister should not instill fear in the citizens, as he said, Kosovo is protected by NATO.

"Kosovo has a guarantee, NATO, including our capacities that are being built, and these make it clear that war is not threatening, but dialogue is being sought, a solution is being sought," he wrote on Facebook.

Further, he said that it must be proved that Kosovo of February 17, 2008 is a parliamentary Republic, which guarantees security and peace for its neighbors, ensures democracy and development for its people regardless of ethnicity.

"And the strongest argument we had is that we are not and will not be a threat to anyone", Haziri declared, adding that until now, the Kurti Government has a "mountain of words", but no deeds.

"In action we have hesitations and we have a policy of one step forward and two steps back.

So, there is no progress towards achieving those goals and promises they have given."

"Unfortunately, both internally and externally, this government has shown a lack of leadership, a lack of political courage to solve problems.

For 1 and a half years now, we don't have governance, but administration.

It is unacceptable that VV restored the administration that we left behind on February 17, 2008 and Kosovo is suffering from this way of leadership".
