Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has given this information by tweeting on Saturday.

Ramesh has said in his tweet that 75-year-old Sonia Gandhi has put herself in isolation following the guidelines related to Kovid.

He has written, "Today the Kovid-19 investigation report of Congress President Sonia Gandhi came positive.

She will remain in segregation following the protocol issued by the government.

A few days ago, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also got infected with Kovid.

Sonia Gandhi was earlier infected with Kovid in the month of June as well.

She was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for several days due to health complications after the corona virus infection.
