If Germany decides to abandon Russian oil and replace it with American oil, this will result in a sharp increase in the price.

APA reports that "Rosneft" released information about this.

At the same time, the Russian company predicted a fuel shortage in Germany.

"The oil refinery in Schwedt supplies more than 90 percent of the demand for gasoline, paraffin, diesel and fuel oil in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

The price and shortage of oil products is a serious threat to the German consumer market," the company said in a statement.

According to Rosneft's calculations, Germany will spend about 20 million dollars to replace the supply of Russian Urals oil with an alternative fuel.

The reason for this is that American oil is more expensive than Russian oil and its transportation to Europe is also more expensive.
