The prosecutor's office of the Horadzen region has opened criminal cases for publicly insulting prosecutors and other representatives of the government in connection with the "Autukhovich case" and for spreading personal information, BelTA reports with reference to the department's press service.

"The Department of Internal Security of the General Prosecutor's Office established the facts of illegal distribution in destructive Telegram channels of the personal data of the deputy head of the Prosecutor's Office of the Horaden Region, the assistant prosecutor of the Minsk Sovetsky District, employees of law enforcement agencies and prison No. 1, judges of the Horaden Regional Court and their close relatives, as well as about their private lives.

This is related to their performance of their official duties, namely, consideration of the criminal case against Mikalai Autukhovich and other persons involved in the case by the court of the Horaden region," the prosecutor's office said.

Criminal cases have been instituted under Part 3 of Art. 203-1, Art. 369 of the Criminal Code.

In order to organize a preliminary investigation, criminal cases were sent to the office of the Investigative Committee for the Horaden region, the prosecutor's office reported.

The trial in the "Autukhovich case" began on May 18.

The former entrepreneur and public activist Mikalai Autukhovich is charged under 10 articles of the Criminal Code.
