After several weeks of rumors and leaked information, Samsung at the Unpacked event finally presented the Galaxy Watch 5 with a price of 271 euros and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with a price of 436 euros.

And while there weren't many surprises, it seems the company took the criticism about the Galaxy Watch 4's poor battery life to heart. Both the Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro smartwatches now have larger-capacity batteries, faster charging faster and more durable, reports The Verge.

With the Galaxy Watch 5 series, Samsung is once again "shaking up" its line of smart watches.

While the Galaxy Watch 4 series rebranded the flagship Galaxy Watch and Watch Active line from the Tizen era, this event introduces an entirely new model: the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Telegraph reports.

While the slightly lower-performing Galaxy Watch 5 is the best-selling entry-level product, the Pro model is meant to be a premium version aimed at outdoor enthusiasts.

Neither model has Samsung's iconic rotating bezel, however they do now have the subtle touch bezel.

For lovers of the physical frame, the Galaxy Watch Classic 4 will remain as a middle option between the Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro.

The Galaxy Watch 5 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes while the Pro model comes in a single 45mm size.

Both watches are powered by the same Exynos W920 1.18GHz processor, with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
