Krishna Janmashtami 2022:

This year there is a lot of confusion regarding the festivals, especially there are differences in the dates of those festivals which are falling in the month of August.

Let us tell you that the month of Bhadrapada has started from the second week of August and the birth date of Lord Krishna is considered to be in the Rohini Nakshatra of Bhadon.

On this day, the devotees are absorbed in the worship of their adorable Shri Krishna and start the celebrations during the night.

But, there has been a lot of confusion among the devotees regarding the date of Janmashtami.

Let us know what astrology has to say on this and what is the auspicious time of Janmashtami.

What day is Janmashtami Shubh Muhurta?

Janmashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of Bhadrapada.

This year this date is falling on 18th August.

The exact time of Ashtami is starting from 9.21 pm on 18th August (18th August).

At the same time, it will end on August 19 at 10.50 pm.

Due to this, the devotees are choosing both the days i.e. 18th and 19th August to celebrate Janmashtami according to different opinion.

On this, many astrologers say that according to the belief, householders can celebrate Janmashtami on 18 August and Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on 19 August in Vrindavan.

For the auspicious time of worship on Janmashtami, according to astrology, on the night of August 18, 12.20 minutes to 1.00 minutes will be auspicious for the worship of Kanha.

Janmashtami is such a festival which starts 2-3 days in advance.

On this day a tent is set up in the street, a post is decorated, Mount Kailash for Shiva and a palanquin for Kanha.

Small children are decorated like gods and people come to see them.

All the houses are filled with the aroma of sweet dishes.

Something similar happens on Krishna Janmashtami.
