Although the number of young unemployed worldwide has decreased, it remains high compared to the pre-pandemic period.

APA informs that this was stated in the latest report of the International Labor Organization (ILO).

According to the authors of the report, the number of young unemployed decreased by 2 million people in the last 1 year and reached 73 million people.

However, this figure is 6 million more than in 2019.

ILO experts point out that unemployment among women is still high.

According to them, the Ukrainian crisis is slowing down the creation of new jobs in most countries of the world.

But the expansion of Internet coverage will lead to the creation of 24 million new jobs by 2030.

Most of these places will be occupied by young people.
