Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Rajnath Singh wished Raju Srivastava a speedy recovery.

Regarding the health of stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava, hospital sources said that in view of his serious condition, he has been kept on ventilator in the ICU.

Raju Srivastava was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack.

A day after 58-year-old Raju Srivastava was admitted to the hospital, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today called his wife and assured her of all possible help.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also directed the officials to help the family of the popular comedian.

Raju Srivastava suffered a heart attack yesterday while running at the trade mill in the gym and was taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) where he underwent angioplasty.

Defense-Minister Rajnath Singh has also wished for the speedy recovery of Raju Srivastava.

He has said through a tweet that he is in touch with the doctors of AIIMS.

Spoke to Dr. Guleria, Director, AIIMS, on phone to know the well being of renowned comedian, Raju Srivastava ji.

Talking to his wife also consoled him.

Raju Srivastava is one of the most successful stand-up comedians of the country and a well-known star for the small screen of television.

He is currently the President of the Film Development Council of Uttar Pradesh.

He got his first recognition after participating in the first season of the stand-up comedy show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge".


Raju Srivastava, who has been active in the entertainment industry since the late 1980s, has appeared in Bollywood films such as "Baazigar" and "Maine Pyar Kiya".

He also participated in the third season of Bigg Boss.
