Tourists bathed in one of the Seven Rila Lakes.

Footage of their offense was posted on social media and sparked a backlash.

As soon as they realize that they are trespassers, Romanian citizens flee the area.

Vladimir Milushev, director of the Rila National Park, announced this on btv air.

"The lakes are in the process of swamping.

We are losing them bit by bit.

This is due to people, landslides.

Each entry into the water brings nutrients and helps the development of atypical vegetation.

We must move along the hiking trails and not enter the water," he added.

Such incidents are not frequent as there is an increased presence of park officials.
