The criminal case of Aytaj Aliyeva and her sister Ilknur Aliyeva (Turkut), accused of massive fraud, has been continued.

APA reports that the victim Tural Tahmezli testified at the session presided over by Judge Rasim Sadikhov at the Baku Serious Crimes Court.

The victim said that he applied to Ilknur Turkut in order to get a job, and in return, the accused person took 2 thousand manats from him with the promise that he would get a job.

Tural Tahmezli said in court that he was a participant in the Patriotic War.

Judge Rasim Sadikhov asked the accused person to pay the damage caused to the victim in a short time: "We understood the other victims that the amount of damage caused is large.

This victim has only 2 thousand manats of money, he is also a participant in the war.

The accused promised to pay for the damage caused to Tural Tahmezli.

The process will continue on August 23.

It should be noted that Aytaj Aliyeva, the former chairman of the Binagadi district municipality, along with her sister Ilknur Aliyeva (Turkut), are accused of defrauding citizens of about 1 million manats in order to trade gold.

A criminal case was initiated against them under Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code (Fraud, when committed by causing a large amount of damage) and a pretrial detention measure was chosen against them.

The accused Ilknur Aliyeva was released to house arrest some time ago.
