As the "Pravda Gomel" portal reports, the man intended to become a participant in the hostilities in Ukraine.

The regional court found the man guilty of active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order, as well as in preparation for participation in an armed formation or conflict, military actions on the territory of a foreign state.

The accused was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.

The sentence has not entered into legal force, it can be appealed and protested in the appellate procedure.

There is no information on whose side — Ukraine or Russia — the convict was going to fight.

  None of them was brought to criminal responsibility.
